BIO Announces Additional Plenary Sessions and Speakers for 2010 Pacific Rim Summit on Industrial Biotech and Bioenergy

WASHINGTON, D.C. (Tuesday, November 02, 2010) - The Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO) today announced additional speakers for plenary sessions on future drop-in transportation and aviation biofuels, potential advances in algae and marine biotechnology and efforts to commercialize renewable chemicals. Newly confirmed plenary session speakers include:

Brent Erickson, executive vice president of BIO’s Industrial & Environmental Section, stated, “The growing list of international thought leaders, policy makers and entrepreneurs from leading companies and research organizations promise to make the Pacific Rim Summit one of the most vital conferences of the year.
