BIO Announces Therapeutic Workshops for 10th Annual BIO Investor Forum

<span style="display: none">&nbsp;</span>&nbsp;The Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO) today announced the preliminary set of speakers who will be featured on the Therapeutic Workshops during the<a href="http://bit.ly/oy0mwM">10<sup>th</sup> annual BIO Investor Forum</a> to be held October 25 - 26 in San Francisco, CA.&nbsp;</p>

WASHINGTON, DC – (September 19, 2011) – The Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO) today announced the preliminary set of speakers who will be featured on the Therapeutic Workshops during the10thannual BIO Investor Forumto be held October 25 - 26 in San Francisco, CA. 

“The BIO Investor Forum continues to provide unique features not found at other investment events.  This year’s Therapeutic Workshops will once again engage key opinion leaders, clinical specialists, and leading companies to have provocative discussions around the most novel and cutting-edge therapies in the biotech industry, providing a glimpse to investors as to what will drive the market,” said Alan Eisenberg, Executive Vice President of Emerging Companies and Business Development at BIO.

Therapeutic Workshops will feature senior-level industry executives, scientific officers leading clinical experts and patient advocacy groups that represent innovation in the biotech industry.

Therapeutic Workshops include:

  • Immunotherapy: Heal Thyself

The field of immunotherapeutics has piqued the interest of investors as well as pharma companies that will pay top dollar to develop these drugs. Hear experts from companies at the forefront of this exciting field discuss what lies ahead.

Experts in this specialized antibody field will convene to discuss the latest developments and lessons of bringing Antibody Drug Conjugates (ADC) through the clinic as well as answer the many questions surrounding this hot topic.
