Illinois Governor Pat Quinn Selected as BIO Governor of the Year

BIO announces that Governor Pat Quinn has been selected as the 2011 BIO Governor of the Year.</p>



The Biotechnology Industry Organization will officially announce that Governor Pat Quinn has been selected as the 2011 BIO Governor of the Year.

The UIC Incubator Laboratory Facility in the Chicago Technology Park will provide lab tours and interview opportunities with early stage growth companies spun out of the University of Illinois at Chicago.


The event will feature the following speakers:

  • Illinois Governor Pat Quinn
  • Peter Nelson, Dean of UIC College of Engineering
  • Scott Whitaker, Chief Operating Officer of BIO
  • David Miller, President and CEO of iBIO
