Scope of work:
BIO’s legal department provides a comprehensive in-house internship experience covering the variety of biotechnology legal fields. BIO’s legal department covers both domestic and international issues in health, agriculture, and industrial/environmental biotechnology. BIO also covers cross-cutting issues like intellectual property (primarily patents) and international trade issues.
The selected intern will gain practical experience in legal research and writing on a variety of key areas of legislative and regulatory analysis, amicus support, and corporate compliance issues.
Qualifications/Skills Required:
A current law student in good standing from an accredited university. Demonstrated research and writing ability. Law students with prior legal internship experience encouraged to apply.
