With only 19 more days to go until BIO Convention 2015, BIO is excited to announce today that legendary musician Wynton Marsalis will participate in our first-ever evening Keynote at this year’s Convention! Marsalis will be interviewed by broadcast journalist Forrest Sawyer at Philadelphia’s Convention Center on June 17th

Marsalis is known as the first jazz artist to perform and compose across the full jazz spectrum – everything from jazz’s New Orleans roots to bebop to modern jazz.  Marsalis has often promoted the appreciation of classical and jazz music to young audiences, and he has been awarded nine Grammys as well as a Pulitzer Prize for Music.

BIO International Convention President Scott Whitaker said, “Marsalis is at heart an entrepreneur, as are many of our attendees. Their shared experiences of creating new ideas, raising capital and persevering to bring an idea to fruition are sure to make for a truly unique BIO 2015 evening Keynote.”

The event will be open to Convention Access and Partnering registrants.
