Start-Up Stadium Presentations will take place in the
Sails Pavilion, Upper Level, San Diego Convention Center


This year's Start-Up Stadium includes two special sessions of presentations:

 

Start-Up Stadium was designed to provide start-up companies with the opportunity to access key members of the investment community, venture philanthropy groups, strategic partners, and non-dilutive capital at the world’s largest biotechnology event.  

This year will also feature separate evaluation of the seed-stage finalists' presentations with the highest-scoring seed company being eligible for a prize courtesy of The Innovation Space.

SEED-STAGE FINALIST PRIZE FROM THE INNOVATION SPACE:

Fast-track admission in the Fall 2022 or Spring 2023 cohort of The Innovation Space’s Science Inc. virtual accelerator program and/or spotlight position in The Innovation Space’s monthly Spark Factory virtual event.  Moreover, company will also be considered for up to a $200k First Fund investment (residency in The Innovation Space required for First Fund investments)

What Kind of Exposure do Applicants Receive?

The goal of Start-up Stadium is to increase start-ups’ engagement and visibility with investors, state and regional affiliates, and early-stage companies at the beginning of their life-cycle. All applications were reviewed by judges experienced in evaluation of start-ups' growth potential as companies.  During the BIO International Convention, investor judges will attend live start-up presentations and engage in  Q&A/feedback with start-up finalists.
