We are currently planning a virtual format that will enable us to deliver three days of BIO One-on-One Partnering with an expanded 24-hour global time zone approach for business development networking. The event will also feature two days of expert-level, interactive educational content focused on the most pressing industry topics and spotlight 160 on-demand company presentations.

BIO’s Previous Presentation/Publication and Confidentiality Policies will remain in effect since abstracts will still be presented. The convention itself will be open to qualified media with “on the record” educational panel sessions, however.
All available sessions and educational events will be available to all registrants. You will not need to sign up specifically for a session in order to attend. For a live-streamed event, RSVPs may be requested.
We are planning a mix of live and pre-recorded content as well as set of tools for interacting with speakers for Q&A, even for pre-recorded content. Sessions will remain available on demand for a period of at least 30 days after the start of the event.
Yes, BIO is reviewing the best functionality to enable such Q&A interactions.

No, coupon codes are only provided to sponsoring organizations and their guests and attendees. Most attendees will not have a coupon code.

You should contact the customer service team at firstname.lastname@example.org and after verification from the BIO Membership department, the proper adjustment will be made to your record and a refund will be issued. However, if you paid by check or wire transfer, a W-9 (W-8BEN for International guests) will be required in order to process the refund.
All confirmations are HTML (Web) pages at the conclusion of your registration and are printable. Additionally, an email confirmation is sent immediately following the completion of online registration. If you have not received a confirmation, please check your spam or junk mail folder.
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing on or before September 22, 2020 to receive a partial refund.
A $200 administrative fee will be deducted from all cancellation refunds.
Approved refunds will be processed after the conference. BIO regrets that refunds will not be given for no-shows / non-participants.

Due to the digital nature of the program, after September 29, 2020, we will not accept substitutions.

Media registration is complimentary for applicants with valid press credentials. BIO will review submissions in the order they are received and send notification within 48 hours. Instructions for receiving a complimentary media registration will be sent to all approved media. Please note, marketing executives, sales representatives, public relations executives, analysts, consultants, authors and researchers may not register as media.
The BIO One-on-One Partnering™ system has been enhanced to allow you to go virtual amid the COVID-19 pandemic. New features include the ability to self-schedule your meetings during 3 full days of partnering from October 13-15, view your partnering calendar in your own time zone, and integrated video conferencing to streamline your meeting process.
Access to BIO One-on-One Partnering is included with all registrations for BIO Investor Forum Digital. The system will open September 1. After the system opens, you can expect to receive your partnering login information within 1-2 business days of your completed registration. Be sure to add email@example.com to your safe senders list to receive your login credentials.
You can expect to find senior biotech executives and business development leaders from hundreds of leading companies around the globe participating in Virtual Partnering.
The BIO One-On-One Partnering™ system works on a company to company basis. Delegates’ accounts will be placed into a company profile with their colleagues as they register for the conference. After filling out their profiles and their calendar availability, delegates send meeting requests to other companies of interest, and accept incoming meeting requests as appropriate.
Once a meeting request is accepted, either company can schedule the meeting via their Message Center – just click the “Schedule” button on the meeting request. You can select a mutually available time for the meeting, and BIO will provide you with a virtual meeting room. Accepted meeting requests with no mutual availability will show a red “No mutual availability” indicator.
Any accepted meetings that have not been scheduled will be automatically assigned a time and virtual meeting room by the partnering system starting one week prior to the conference.
BIO will provide each scheduled meeting with a link to a virtual meeting room starting one week out from the conference.
Each company profile is allowed 150 outstanding outgoing meeting requests.
Please allow 1 to 2 US business days following your completed registration to receive access to Virtual Partnering for BIO Investor Forum Digital. You can expect a confirmation email from the BIO Partnering Team with your login information at that time, so please add firstname.lastname@example.org to your safe senders list.
Company Presentations at the BIO Investor Forum are 15-minute presentations given by senior-level executives. They showcase a company’s pipeline, R&D activities, business objectives and investment goals.
Companies and organizations present at the BIO Investor Forum to get in front of an exclusive audience of public and private equity investors, plus other biotech executives. (Since 2011, 44% of all US therapeutic IPO companies participated in a BIO Investor Forum event as a private company.) Presenters also receive exclusive benefits not available to general attendees, including pre-conference marketing (such as email newsletters, press releases, etc.), designation in the One-on-One Partnering System, and the opportunity to participate in exclusive content on the BIOtechNow blog.
The BIO Investor Forum will feature presentations primarily by early and established private companies, as well as 20-30 emerging public companies. Those interested in presenting must have a clear R&D focus, with a pipeline involving biotechnology therapeutics, diagnostics, or platform technologies. This can include patient advocacy groups. Service providers will not be considered, but should email our Sponsorship Team to discuss alternative ways to highlight your initiatives with a dedicated team member. For companies looking to participate in the Discovery or Emerging Innovators Tracks, there are additional financial qualifications, explained in more detail below. All applications submitted will be reviewed and appropriate companies will be approved to present.
Submit an application! All companies and organizations who are interested in presenting are encouraged to submit an application here. Your application will be reviewed, and you will be notified shortly on its status. Should your application be accepted, registration and logistical details would then be provided.
The deadline to submit an application is October 2nd. However, space is limited, and applications should be submitted as soon as possible. Once presentation spots are sold out, applications will be wait listed, and companies will be notified if/when a presentation slot becomes available.
At least one person from your company must purchase a registration pass in order to give them access to the sessions, BIO One-on-One Partnering and networking events. There is also a separate presentation fee. For more information on registration pricing, please visit our registration page.

Giving a company presentation is a great way to reach a global audience, increase your visibility in the biotech industry and get more BIO One-on-One Partnering meetings with investors and executives. Presenting companies tend to receive more meeting requests and scheduling more meetings!
