Keeping Pace with Innovation: Pathways to Regulatory Improvement

Gene-editing is positioned to be a key contributor for innovation in agriculture. However, in order to reap its full potential, governments will need to establish clear and efficient regulatory approaches for the development and commercialization of products. This session will introduce the audience to a global snapshot and explore some of the first-ever gene-edited products to make it to commercialization. Panelists will help paint the landscape by sharing their own successful regulatory pathways and discussing individual challenges encountered and potential improvements needed to streamline processes.
