Don brings nearly 15 years of biotechnology and pharmaceutical business development experience to Asher and is responsible for all corporate development activities including partnering and alliance management, as well as corporate and commercial strategy, corporate legal, and will contribute to our investor, public and media relations activities.
Previously Don served as Vice President and Global Head of Oncology Partnering for Roche and Genentech where he was responsible for all oncology pipeline business development activities. Don held various positions of increasing responsibility during his nearly 12 years at Genentech, including leading partnering efforts for gRED’s Immunology and Infectious Disease R&D groups. Prior to joining Genentech, Don spent three years in the Corporate Development group at Genzyme.
Don has a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from University of Cambridge, a MBA from Wharton, University of Pennsylvania, and a B.Sc. in Biochemistry from Imperial College, London.
