Sebastian Guth

Biography: Sebastian Guth is a multi-national healthcare executive with 20+ years’ experience across three continents that has proven results in both strategic and operational leadership roles at the most senior level. Since 2018, Sebastian is the President for Bayer’s Pharmaceuticals business in the Americas Region, comprising the US, Canada, and Latin America. He led the turnaround of the $4.2B business, reaccelerated the company’s growth momentum, expanded its footprint in the US, and significantly grew earnings.

Prior to leading the turnaround in the Americas Region, Sebastian owned the company’s growth agenda as Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for Bayer's global Pharmaceuticals business.

During his career, Sebastian’s leadership has delivered results in a variety of settings and cultures. He has built a reputation as a forward-thinking leader with deep-seated curiosity and as an expert in unlocking revenue potential. Sebastian is a strong judge of talent, a people builder, and has a proven ability to build effective cross-cultural teams. He is passionate and experienced in leveraging technology for growth.

As a veteran healthcare executive, Sebastian today offers his experiences as a member of the Board of Phosplatin Therapeutics, the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA), the Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO), and at Children’s Aid. He is an active angel investor.
