Dr. Nathaniel (Nat) Moorman is a co-founder of READDI, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to making antiviral drugs for the next pandemic. Working with academic, industry and government partners around the world, READDI is proactively developing a pipeline of broad-spectrum antiviral drugs to make sure we're prepared no matter what virus comes next. For over 25 years Dr. Moorman has been studying how viruses cause disease and finding new ways to stop them. He received his doctorate from Washington University prior to postdoctoral studies at Princeton University and has been a member of the faculty at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for the past 14 years where he leads multiple collaborative drug discovery efforts for multiple virus families that cause widespread outbreaks, epidemics and pandemics.
