Gina Nellesen

Gina is in-house counsel at BeiGene, a global biotechnology company discovering and developing innovative oncology treatments that are more accessible and affordable to cancer patients worldwide. She has recent experience as a USPTO examiner in Art Unit 1600. Previously, in private practice, she counseled biotech and pharmaceutical companies in all aspects of patent prosecution. During law school Gina was a judicial extern to Judge Ronald M. Whyte (Federal Court, Northern California District). She received her JD from Santa Clara University, and completed graduate studies in Biochemistry at University of California, San Diego.
