Linda Griffith is a member of the Biological Engineering and Mechanical Engineering Departments at MIT and directs the Center for Gynepathology Research (CGR), an interdepartmental research center connecting MIT faculty to translational problems in gynecology. During her 31 years of independent research, Linda has developed multidisciplinary approaches fusing polymer science, cell biology, and microdevice engineering to engineer three dimensional tissues for regenerative medicine and drug discovery. Linda holds a bachelor of science from Georgia Tech and a PhD from University of California Berkley, both in chemical engineering, and post-doctoral training in bioengineering from MIT & Harvard Medical School.
