Kenichiro Kuninobu, PhD, RPh

Dr.Kuninobu has a wide range of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. He led a clinical trial preparation and regulatory discussion of mesenchymal stem cells for neurodegenerative diseases in collaboration with Yale University during 2019-2022. One of his achievements is the successful pre-IND meeting with FDA in 2021. In addition to this experience, he engaged in business development leading to executing the contract valued at more than 100M USD. He also led the manufacturing project in Vietnam during 2012-2018 to establish a pharmaceutical plant in Vietnam as a representative of NIPRO, a Japanese pharmaceutical corporation. He managed a team of up to 200 people. He also collaborated with the Embassy of Japan to negotiate with the ministry of health of Vietnam to change the distribution law in Vietnam. He served as the vice chairperson of the Japan Business Association in Vietnam. He graduated from Nagasaki University Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences with his Ph.D.
