Susan Limb, MD

Susan Limb, MD, is Vice President of Clinical Science and Therapeutic Area Head for Pulmonary at 4D Molecular Therapeutics. She has led the 4DMT cystic fibrosis clinical program since 2021. Prior to joining 4DMT, she was a Senior Medical Director at Genentech (a member of the Roche Group), where she was involved in clinical development programs for several therapeutic areas including rare pulmonary diseases. In addition, Dr. Limb previously served as a clinical review team leader at the US Food & Drug Administration (2006 to 2015) in the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research, Division of Pulmonary, Allergy, and Rheumatology Products and as an adjunct faculty member at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, Division of Allergy and Clinical Immunology.
Dr. Limb received her AB degree in Biochemical Sciences from Harvard University (1996) and MD degree from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine (2000). She completed her internal medicine residency and fellowship training in allergy and clinical immunology at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
