Emmet Purtill is Vice President Business Development at Nicox and brings more than 25 years’ experience in business development and related roles in pharmaceuticals and life sciences. At Nicox Emmet is responsible for business development strategy, in- and out-licensing activities, and for alliance management with respect to all material collaborations concerning Nicox’s in-house and partnered assets. Emmet also leads Nicox’s due diligence activities in support of M&A transactions and financing.
Prior to joining Nicox in 2006 Emmet worked for 7 years in business development in the clinical development division of Covance. Emmet holds a BSc (Hons) in biochemistry from the University of Bath and an MBA from The Open University (UK).
