Michelle F. Davis is an award-winning journalist at Bloomberg News in New York. She leads coverage of health-care M&A on Bloomberg’s deals team where she’s broken news on some of the highest-profile transactions in biopharma, medtech, tools and diagnostics, healthcare services and digital health. She writes for the news service, web, Bloomberg Businessweek and also appears on Bloomberg TV and radio. Previously she covered Wall Street with a focus on JPMorgan where she was part of a team that received the 2021 New York Press Club business journalism award for a series about tensions on bank trading floors and the industry’s pandemic windfall. A multilingual reporter, she earlier spent two years in Bloomberg’s Mexico City bureau where she covered markets, exposed insider trading and broke news about cyberattacks on the nation’s biggest banks. She started at Bloomberg in 2014 after graduating from the University of Virginia.
