Rupal Bhatt

VP, SOLID TUMOR ONCOLOGY, BRISTOL MYERS SQUIBB
Rupal grew up in Framingham, Massachusetts and did her undergraduate training at Harvard College, where she worked on transcriptional regulation. She then completed her MD/PhD-training at the Cornell, Rockefeller, Sloan-Kettering Tri Institutional MD/PhD program. After completing the program, Rupal worked at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) with a clinical specialty in Genitourinary Oncology. She then led a translational program including a basic science laboratory in the field of resistance to therapy in prostate and kidney cancers for 15 years. Rupal now works at Bristol Myers Squibb, where she is the VP, Solid Tumor Oncology. Rupal and her team develop and execute biomarker strategies for late-stage clinical trials and interface with research teams to enable reverse translation and discovery using patient datasets.
