Nicole Kilgore

JPEO-CBRND, JOINT PROGRAM EXECUTIVE OFFICE FOR CHEMICAL, BIOLOGICAL, RADIOLOGICAL, AND NUCLEAR DEFENSE/JOINT PRO
Ms. Nicole Kilgore is the Deputy Joint Program Executive Officer (JPEO) for Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) Defense. She provides management and technical direction to the entire portfolio, the headquarters functions, and the Chief of Staff. Ms. Kilgore leads civilian and military multi-disciplinary teams whose mission is to protect U.S. Joint Forces and the nation from CBRN threats by generating affordable and state-of-the-art capabilities. As an Army acquisition professional and scientist, she brings a unique blend of expertise to the CBRN defense portfolio. Most recently, Ms. Kilgore was the Acting Deputy JPEO for Assisted Acquisition/Medical (COVID-19 Response). In this role, she focused primarily on the Medical and Protection Portfolios and led coordination of the Defense Department’s COVID-19 Joint Assisted Acquisition efforts in support of the Department of Health and Human Services. Ms. Kilgore holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Mount Saint Mary’s College, a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Hood College, and a Master of Science in National Resource Strategy from the National Defense University, Eisenhower School. She has also attended the Defense Acquisition University’s Advanced Program Management Course and the Advanced Leadership Course at the Army Management Staff College.
