Emily Roberts is the Director of Issue Advocacy at Genentech. In this role, she develops and executes advocacy campaigns in partnership with external stakeholders to advance policies that encourage scientific innovation and improve patient access.
Emily has spent the last decade working in public policy and advocacy for the life sciences industry. Prior to joining Genentech, she served as Vice President of the Colorado BioScience Association, where she led the association’s government affairs program and directed initiatives to grow Colorado’s life sciences ecosystem. She has also held roles in advocacy and alliance development at the Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO) and the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA).
Emily is a graduate of Vanderbilt University. She lives in Denver, CO with her husband Dan and their dog Scout.
