Nominations now open for the George Washington Carver and Rosalind Franklin Awards

Nominations are now open for two prestigious awards to honor today’s biotech heroes—innovators who are driving discoveries to strengthen agricultural, environmental and economic resiliency. Collectively known as the Biotechnology Innovation Organization’s Impact Awards, the awards are presented in conjunction with this years Agriculture & Environment Summit.

Nominations must be received by Friday, May 3,  5:00PM EDT. A selection committee will review the nominations and announce the award recipient at the BIO International Convention, June 3 – 6, in San Diego.

George Washington Carver Award

Awarded to a individual in the field of agricultural and environmental biotechnology.

Rosalind Franklin Award

Awarded to woman in the agricultural or environmental sector of biotechnology.
