Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corporation is a non-profit, public-private, partnership-based organization that markets the economic assets of the two-county Lehigh Valley region in eastern Pennsylvania. The Lehigh Valley is located in the heart of the Northeast market, just 90 minutes from New York City and 60 minutes from Philadelphia, and within a day's drive of about one-third of the U.S. population. The Lehigh Valley is the third largest region in Pennsylvania, with a population of about 700,000, and a growing region, including growth of 10% over the last decade in the important 18-to-34 age group. The Lehigh Valley also is a top manufacturing market in the U.S. in terms of economic output. The Lehigh Valley has consistently ranked among the top regions of its size for development projects in the annual Governors' Cup rankings published by Site Selection magazine. LVEDC is an Accredited Economic Development Organization.
