PuREC was established in 2016, based on the technology for isolating highly pure mesenchymal stem cells that had been established by the founder, Dr. Yumi Matsuzaki. Aiming for the therapeutic application of highly pure MSC (Rapidly Expandng Cells: REC), PuREC is now providing REC for the two investigator-initiated clinical trials: for Hypophosphatasia at Shimane Univ. and for Lumbar Canal stenosis at Hokkaido Univ.
