Phoenix Bioscience Core

Booth 3035
Phoenix, Arizona, United States
The Phoenix Bioscience Core is a 30-acre, urban life sciences hub in the heart of the thriving innovator’s district in Downtown Phoenix. It is home to the highest concentration of research and physician scientists along with complementary research and health professionals in the region. On and within 2 miles of the PBC, innovators have access to unprecedented collaborations with 20+ Institutes of Research Excellence to accelerate their discoveries.

It is the only place where you will find all three of Arizona’s public universities – Arizona State University, Northern Arizona University, and the University of Arizona – in one location – advancing medical education, translational research and spinning out new life science companies. It is also the only location where a high school with a prime focus on the life sciences is located – Phoenix Union’s Bioscience High School.

The Translational Genomics Research Institute (TGen) an affiliate of the City of Hope and International Genomics Consortium (IGC) are world leaders in advancing precision medical treatments and founding tenants of the campus. Other leading life science organizations on the campus include Exact Sciences, NIH’s National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) research center and Dignity Health Cancer Institute.

The 850 PBC is a 227ksf fully, lab-enabled building designed for collaboration and innovation. Its Connect Labs by Wexford Science+Technology has flexible-sized private labs with access to shared equipment and operational support. It is home to a growing number of industry and pioneering bio-innovation companies along with Calviri, ASU’s Translational Research Center, the Center for Entrepreneurial Innovation (CEI) with their Market Validation Lab and LabForce programs to support talent training needs. Venture Café Phoenix brings innovators from across the community together every Thursday to share, learn and connect to make things happen.

Approximately 2 million square-feet of the planned 6 million square feet has been built on the PBC, so there is room to grow. You are invited to join the drivers of translational discovery at the Phoenix Bioscience Core!
