At ASTRA Therapeutics, we are on a quest to discover and develop novel drugs that can combat various parasitic diseases, pests and pathogens. These threats pose serious challenges to human health and food security, especially with the rise of multiple drug resistance. We need new technologies and innovative solutions to fill the gap in the drug development pipelines against infectious diseases. Our Drug Discovery Platform ParaX® is a breakthrough tool that enables us to design and develop Parabulins®, which are unique molecules selectively blocking the cell division of pathogens without affecting the host cells. We have three types of Parabulins: Parabulins_H for Human diseases, Parabulins_V for Veterinary diseases and Parabulins_A for Agricultural applications.
