At Amgen West Greenwich, you will find state-of-the-art next-generation biomanufacturing capabilities and manufacturing products for the U.S. and global markets.

Amgen’s campus in West Greenwich, Rhode Island, is devoted to the manufacture of the protein therapeutics. It also manufactures products for clinical investigations that one day could be used to treat patients with grievous illnesses.

Amgen has invested more than $1.5 billion in its Rhode Island facility, adding more than 500,000 square feet of manufacturing, utility, administrative, and laboratory space to the campus. The plant, approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration in September 2005, houses one of the world’s largest mammalian protein manufacturing facilities.

The plant has been recognized as one of Rhode Island’s Best Places to Work more than 15 times since 2007, a testament to the dedication of its staff.
