The Life Sciences Industry: Taking a Public Health Approach to Ending the Gun Violence Epidemic

This panel will focus on the unique voice that the life sciences industry can bring to the table in pursuit of evidence-based policies to reduce gun violence, now the leading cause of death for young people in the United States, and the American public’s number one public health concern according to a recent Axios survey. The panel will also discuss recently launched organizing efforts to engage people in every part of the life sciences industry in advocacy efforts on this critical issue, and the importance of building alliances with other stakeholders to create meaningful impact.
