Robert Truckenmiller

HEAD OF US MARKET ACCESS, GSK
Robert (Rob) Truckenmiller joined GSK in June, 2021 and leads the US Market Access team. He has strategic and operational responsibility for the team across all market access functions including payer marketing, national and regional accounts, channel strategies and sales, contract management & operations, government price reporting, and GSK’s classic & established brand portfolio. He also serves as a core member for the US commercial leadership team, playing an instrumental role in shaping commercial strategies and driving growth and transformation of GSK’s US Pharmaceutical business.
Career History
Rob has more than 20 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry in various sales, marketing, and market access roles at companies such as Johnson & Johnson, UCB Inc., and EMD Serono. Prior to joining GSK, Rob was the Senior Vice President, Market Access & Customer Solutions, Head of US Oncology, Head of US Fertility and Endocrinology at EMD Serono. In this role, he was responsible for the development of U.S. market access strategies, launch preparations for all EMD Serono products, including entry into the U.S. buy & bill marketplace, and all payer contracting and reimbursement strategies to enable patient access to EMD Serono medicines.
Prior to EMD Serono, Rob served as Vice President and Head of U.S. Market Access & Pricing at UCB, where he led a team in developing a market access strategy that successfully improved overall patient access for all UCB brands. He spent eleven years at UCB, taking on roles of increasing responsibility across sales, brand marketing, large account management and market access. Prior to UCB, Rob held sales, institutional sales, and sales leadership positions at Johnson & Johnson. Additionally, Rob is a six-year veteran of the U.S.Coast Guard.
Rob holds an undergraduate degree in Marketing, and an MBA in Finance and Financial Management Services from the University of Central Florida - College of Business Administration. Rob, his wife Kim, and two daughters, Aly and Kaitlyn live in Raleigh, North Carolina.
