BIO Welcomes New Industrial & Environmental Section Members

Washington, D.C. (June 6, 2016) – The Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO) today announced six companies have joined the Industrial & Environmental Section in the past year. The announcement was made following BIO’s Industrial & Environmental Section member meeting and election of governing board officers at the 2016 BIO International Convention in San Francisco. The new members include both established and start-up renewable chemical producers, biotechnology services companies, biobased product manufacturers, and advanced biofuel developers. BIO’s Industrial & Environmental Section includes 76 member companies.

Brent Erickson, executive vice president of BIO’s Industrial & Environmental Section, welcomed the members and stated, “BIO represents the broadest array of technology and feedstock developer as well as renewable chemical and advanced biofuel producers. BIO has established itself as the undisputed leader among Washington trade associations in representing the entire value chain of the biobased economy.”

The new members are:

  • Enevolv, Inc., Cambridge, MA
  • Green Life Can LLC, Las Vegas, NV
  • Modern Meadow, Inc., Brooklyn, NY
  • Muse Biotechnologies, Inc., Boulder, CO
  • RHO Renewables, Inc., Oakland, CA
