BIO Impact 2022 Health & Safety Protocols

BIO is committed to creating a safe environment for all attendees and exhibitors at the BIO Impact Ag & Environment Conference. For continual updates on BIO’s Health and Safety Protocols, please check this page regularly.  

If you are exhibiting cold or flu-like symptoms, have knowingly been exposed to COVID-19, or have received a positive COVID-19 test within 5 days of the start of BIO Impact, please do not attend.

BIO Health and Safety Screening  

Prior to picking up badges at the Registration Desk, all attendees and exhibitors must complete BIO’s health and safety screening process at the CHI Health Center. 

The health and screening process includes providing the following:  

  1. Proof of Vaccination: 
    • All domestic and international attendees and exhibitors must have completed their primary series of COVID-19 vaccinations and will need to provide proof of vaccination status to gain access to the BIO Impact.
  2. COVID-19 Testing:  
    • BIO is monitoring the current state of COVID-19 in Omaha, Nebraska. Please check back soon for additional information on COVID-19 testing requirements.  

Additional details on how to save time by pre-verifying your vaccination status and test results prior to arriving onsite will be provided shortly.

FAQs: 

What should I do if I am exempt from receiving vaccines? 

If you are exempt, you must complete and sign the exemption form (download below) and submit upon check in at the BIO Impact registration desk prior to receiving your badge. A negative COVID-19 test will be required for all attendees. 

Attendees who are exempt from receiving vaccines are requested to wear face mask coverings for the duration of the event.  

 What should I do if I have recovered from COVID-19, but still receive positive test results? 

If you have COVID-19 within 5 days of the start of the convention, we ask that you please do not attend. If you have recovered from COVID-19 more than 5 days before the start of the convention and are still receiving positive test results, please bring your positive COVID-19 test result from an accredited lab, pharmacy, or clinic (must include date, name, and must be taken no more than 90 days before the start of the convention) OR a doctor’s note.
