Frequently Asked Questions re: COVID-19 (BIO Asia)

Given the global impact of COVID-19 and Japanese government recommendations, BIO has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 BIO Asia conference in Tokyo, scheduled to take place March 10-11, 2020.
Notifications have been sent to conference delegates, sponsors and speakers. If you have specific questions please contact register@bio.org.
Delegates from North America, Europe and other countries who have registered and completed payment with a credit card will receive a full refund by 31 March 2020.
If the registration was paid in full, via a wire transfer or corporate check, a separate email from Edward Shipley will be sent as BIO will require additional information to process the refund.
Asia-Pacific delegates who registered through BIO’s registration partner in Tokyo, Intergroup, will receive separate instructions to process a refund.
As it relates to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), BIO will be contacting sponsors individually. Contact sponsor@bio.org or your account manager with questions.
As the event is cancelled, we encourage all delegates to contact the hotel directly as soon as possible.
