Company Presentations at the BIO Asia International Conference are PowerPoint presentations given by senior-level executives. Presentations are given back-to-back throughout the two-day conference and showcase a company's pipeline, R&D activities, business objectives and investment goals. Presentations are 13 minutes in length. We highly suggest keeping presentations to 10 minutes and reserving 3 minutes for questions from the audience, if desired.
Companies and organizations present at the BIO Asia International Conference in front of an exclusive audience of high level biotech executives, giving them an exclusive platform to discuss important milestones and developments. Presenters also receive benefits not available to general attendees, including pre-conference marketing (such as email newsletters, press releases, etc.) and designation in the BIO One-on-One Partnering™ System.
The BIO Asia International Conference will feature presentations primarily by established public and private companies, as well as a series of Discovery presentations by "pre-emerging" Asian biotech companies. The Discovery presentations will focus on early-stage companies that are first-time presenters at this event, were incorporated after 2012, and use biotechnology for research and development of drug products. Established public and private companies interested in presenting must have a clear R&D focus, with a pipeline involving biotechnology therapeutics, diagnostics, or platform technologies. Service providers will not be considered, but should email our Sponsorship Team to discuss alternative ways to highlight your initiatives with a dedicated team member.
All companies and organizations who are interested in presenting must submit an application, which can be accessed here. Your application will be reviewed, and you will be notified shortly on its status. Should your application be accepted, presenter registration and logistical details would then be provided. Please note, you do not have to wait for your application to be reviewed to register for the conference, but registration does not guarantee a presentation spot.
Applications should be submitted by the beginning of March. This will provide enough time to review the application before the event. However, companies can submit applications at any time, and are encouraged to apply as soon as possible, as slots are extremely limited. Once presentation spots are sold out, applications will be wait listed and companies would be notified if/when a presentation slot becomes available.
Yes. Presentation fees are different depending on company type. However, please note that the "Presentation Fee" has been bundled and includes BOTH the registration fee AND the presentation fee. Please refer to the North American and European Registration page or the Asia-Pacific Registration page for more info.
No, presenters do not have follow-up sessions after a presentation has concluded. Instead, we advise that interested parties visit the onsite BIO One-on-One Partnering™ desk to schedule a private meeting, or utilize common area space.
Yes. This year's BIO Asia event will again feature a series of Discovery presentations by "pre-emerging" Asian biotech companies. A pricing discount is available for these early-stage companies that are first-time presenters at this event, were incorporated after 2016, and use biotechnology for research and development of drug products. Companies interested in presenting can click here for criteria information and to submit an application. All qualifications are made by BIO.
All registered attendees and investors have full access to the company presentations at this event. Please note, there are no day passes or special exceptions made for individuals or companies looking to attend a particular company's presentation.
