Ken Fujimura, PhD

ALLIANCE MANAGER & SENIOR SCIENTIST, OPEN INNOVATION CENTER JAPAN, BAYER YAKUHIN
Ken Fujimura received his Ph.D in Interdisciplinary Science from the University of Tokyo in 2010. He received his first postdoctoral training at Brigham and Women’s Hospital from 2010-2012, and the second one at University of California, San Diego, from 2012-2016. Afterwards, he worked for Sumitomo Dainippon Pharma as a research scientist in oncology for over 2 years. He joined Bayer Yakuhin in September 2018, where he currently serves as an alliance manager/senior scientist at Open Innovation Center Japan, overseeing startup incubation programs centered around Bayer’s first incubator facility in the Asia-Pacific region, “CoLaborator Kobe”.
