In the United States, there are two worldclass state-funded and voter approved biomedical research centers, the California Institute of Regenerative Medicine (CIRM) and the Cancer Prevention & Research Institute of Texas (CPRIT). This is a discussion with representatives from CIRM and CPRIT that will focus not only on the groundbreaking research and development happening at both organizations, but also on the impact they are having in building a vibrant bioscience economy in their respective states.
