Designing Decentralized Clinical Trials from a Patient Perspective

1:00 PM - 2:00 PM (EDT), Monday, June 5, 2023 ・ Session Room 254A
Although the COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated digital transformation, there are still varying levels of adoption of decentralized clinical trials in the industry today. In order to provide fully patient-centric DCTs, stakeholders must collectively identify and overcome obstacles standing in the way of these solutions. In this session, a patient advocate will lead a panel discussion with industry experts to help you understand: pros and cons of clinical trials from a patient’s perspective; clinical trial design and interoperability challenges; the importance of simplicity and authenticity to achieve better enrollment; and retention in clinical trials.
