Mirscience is a biotech company that develop RNA therapy for the treatment of wasting muscle diseases.
Through an RNA platform, we develop molecules that specifically, safely and effectively inhibit therapeutic targets that are considered undruggable.
Our first molecule, called MT-29, blocks 2 targets responsible for muscle atrophy, called MURF-1 and ATROGIN-1, which are responsible for inducing muscle atrophy and weakness.
Our molecules have the effect of increasing muscle mass as well as strength recovery, being a potential therapy for diseases such as cachexia cancer, sarcopenia and acute skeletal muscle atrophy.
