TechLink/Department of Veterans Affairs/Department of Defense

TechLink is a non-profit government funded organization that is formally part of Montana State University and has Partnership Intermediary Agreements (PIA) under 15 USC 3715 with both the US Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) & the US Department of Defense (DoD). The PIA allows TechLink to interact with these government agencies and participate in the technology transfer process from these agencies to industry. Historically, we have worked with the DoD for about 20 years, aiding in the consummation of over 1100 agreements. These agreements have had substantial economic impacts, lead to the creation of new companies, and brought important technologies back into the DoD. Recently, we started working with the Department of Veterans Affairs in a similar capacity. We have thousands of technologies within our portfolio, many of which are directly related to the bioscience industry.
