Mr. Welker has worked in healthcare his whole like.
First, as a Registered Respiratory Therapist working at Indiana University Hospital; and then working his way up through the management ranks in home health care and ambulatory services.
Eventually Mr. Welker was a Division President for a healthcare system, leading the $150MM ambulatory services division.
It was during this time, that he was tasked with starting a variety of new services for the healthcare system.
Having successfully developed, managed, and improved many healthcare services including outpatient services, physician groups, and various others services; Mr. Welker began to develop his own businesses through Angel-funding.
His first such funded business was the first commercially available device to stop snoring- Puresleep.
Later, he consulted on a variety of other start-ups, including several with Chinese interests in the US.
Currently, Mr. Welker is Administrator for a successful ophthalmology practice in Oreg
