Joshua Wang, PHD

Dr Joshua Wang, PhD is currently the Founder & Chief Scientific Officer of VerImmune. Prior to VerImmune, Dr Wang co-founded Pathovax LLC, a universal HPV vaccine start-up based on a technology he developed while doing his PhD at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. To date, PathoVax has secured ~$10mm in non-dilutive funding and investments from angel and seed investors to advance its assets into human clinical trials. Before PathoVax, Dr. Wang also previously worked as a VentureLabs fellow at Flagship Pioneering, a world class venture creation firm focused on developing innovative companies with first-in-class medicines to serve critical unmet needs.
