2022 BIO Patient & Health Advocacy Summit Health and Safety Protocols

Updated as of October 13, 2022

BIO is committed to creating a safe event for all attendees at the 2022 BIO Patient & Health Advocacy Summit. For the latest updates on BIO’s Health and Safety Protocols, please check this page regularly.

If you are exhibiting cold or flu-like symptoms, have knowingly been exposed to COVID-19, or have received a positive COVID-19 test within 5 days of the start of the convention, please stay home and do not attend this year’s Summit.

BIO is committed to your safety. Here is what you can expect:

Proof of Vaccination:

  • All attendees must be up to date with COVID-19 vaccinations, including boosters for those who are eligible and will need to provide proof of vaccination status to gain access to the BIO Patient & Health Advocacy Summit. A photo of proof of vaccination will be accepted.
  • If you have a medical exemption, please forward your doctor’s note to eventsafety@bio.org.

Testing Requirements:

As of October 10, BIO strongly encourages all attendees to test prior to attending the Patient Summit but will no longer require proof of a negative COVID-19 test prior to entry.

Mask Requirements:

Facial masks are encouraged but will not be required.
