The Start-Up Stadium @ BIO World Congress provides high visibility to early-stage emerging companies. During the sessions, 32 start-up companies across 7 sessions will share their new technologies and value proposition through formal 8-minute presentations followed by a 6-minute Q&A to an audience of investors, analysts and strategists from across the value chain.

Apply to Present

Presenting companies seeking investment and partnership opportunities will showcase their latest technological advancements to investors. Innovative biobased companies will be selected to participate in this program based on the following criteria:

  • Raised an initial funding round since inception
  • Previous business or competition experience desired, but not a requirement
  • Fewer than 20 full-time employees
  • Must have specific focus in biobased technologies

The 2019 BIO World Congress Start-Up Stadium Advisory Committee is comprised of experienced leaders with perspective on current issues and priorities for the industry.
