BIO Statement on Coronavirus

On 31 January 2020, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared a global health emergency concerning the COVID-19 which was first identified in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China.

As the organizer of the BIO Asia International Conference, BIO is working closely with our Japanese partners, international and domestic government authorities, and health organizations to collect the most up-to-date information concerning COVID-19.   To date, no WHO (World Health Organization) or government travel restrictions have been issued for Japan, and this event is scheduled to go ahead as planned on March 10-11, 2020.

We will continue to monitor this situation closely and provide updates through the official website and social media channels as appropriate.

We encourage all attendees and other related parties to monitor their own health and stay vigilant by adopting stringent hygiene practices during this time.
