PointClickCare (PCC) Life Sciences evolved from our parent company in 2020 to partner with the life science space and uphold our mission: to improve and accelerate development of therapies for older adult and vulnerable populations as well as understand outcomes and improve access. Our real world data emanates from our proprietary EHR, where we capture chart level longitudinal patient data over 6 years and 74% market share of all Long Term Care (LTC) and Skilled Nursing Facilities in the USA. As a result of our ownership, creation, and control of the EHR, we can ensure the data is research grade, clean, structured, query-able, and easily mapped. Furthermore, PCC follows the comprehensive patient journey in real time, with more data points and observations than any other source for those 65+, thus capturing both chronic and acute disease states. This robust data asset captures all outcomes; therefore, providing better insights into timing, disease onset, outcomes, and medication administration and adherence.
