CAB was founded in 2011 with the aim of contributing to a public-private policy in biotechnology and the development of the sector, from a global perspective that integrates from research and development, to the production, marketing and export of biotechnological products.

It brings together leading companies in various areas such as human health, food industry, animal and plant health, diagnostics, agricultural industry, forestry, industrial inputs and biofuels.

The Argentine Chamber of Biotechnology (CAB) seeks to enhance Argentina's leadership role in biotechnology at the regional level by contributing to the coordination of valuable joint work between actors from various sectors, with the aim of strengthening the country's position in this field.
