Bioproduction is complex particularly during cell expansion in bioreactors. Current methods to assess the viability, density and shape of mammalian cells are highly manual and require recurrent sampling. The C-Netics enables non-destructive and label-free analysis in real time. It works coupled to a dedicated single use kit that integrates an analysis cassette with high-end microelectronic sensors. The monitoring can then be run automatically during the entire duration of the cell culture.This allows the detection of anomalies in real-time and can also be used to quickly optimize a process development.
