Cherngju Kim, PhD

Dr. Kim, CTO of AULBIO, was professor of US pharmacy schools and developed several platform technologies including solid and injectable dosage forms. In addition, he had several licensing-outs with US and Korean companies and a venture company was formed with him and other partners. His primary research interests include the development of polymeric materials for controlled release drug delivery systems and the modulation of drug release kinetics. As the author of Controlled Release Dosage Form Design and Advanced Pharmaceutics: Physicochemical Principles, he published more the 60 papers and 6 patents in this field. Specially, his innovative controlled release technology at Temple University eventually led to fruitful results and reached a major licensing agreement with a pharmaceutical company.
