Strengthening the Bioeconomy

There are 5 trillion pieces of plastic floating in our oceans. Our reliance on products derived from fossil fuels is harming our planet. Through biotechnology, we can meet this challenge head-on by making the same reliable materials through biobased manufacturing. This process reduces greenhouse gas emissions and develops products that are often biodegradable to minimize environmental impact.

Growing Trust in Innovation

Innovations in biotechnology for food and the farm are solving complex challenges that will create a more resilient food system. We have the tools to save crops like oranges and bananas from disease, increase the nutrition of fruits and vegetables, and allow farmers to be part of the climate solution with crops that use less water, soil, fertilizers, and pesticides.
