Paul Dabrowski, Chief Executive Officer, is committed to making cell and gene therapies more accessible for the millions who suffer from serious illnesses, including genetic disorders. To ultimately improve human health, Paul led the innovation and commercialization of Synthego’s world-class CRISPR-based genome engineering platform applications, accelerating biopharma research and development from basic research to the clinic.
Before Synthego, Paul was the lead digital designer for the Falcon 9 rocket and Dragon spacecraft at SpaceX. His portfolio of innovations also includes the world’s smallest electron microscope for DNA sequencing and pioneering mobile video distribution. Under Paul's leadership, Synthego has grown to a 250+ employee company with its platform applications sold in more than 45 countries.
Paul holds a BS in Computer Engineering and Mathematics and MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
