Kate Walsh is a Market Manager at Silicon Valley Bank based in Boston. She is the Head of Biopharma, Tools & Diagnostics for the Northeast and San Francisco Bay Area markets. Kate and her team provide banking services and debt-financing solutions to biopharma companies at all phases, from early-stage venture-backed enterprises to late-stage public companies.
Over her 15-plus years at SVB, Kate has worked with a wide variety of technology and life science companies, including biotech, digital health, diagnostics, medical devices, software and hardware. Her passion is biopharma, where her expertise includes leveraging the networks she’s built during her time at SVB to make pivotal connections for her clients.
Kate holds a bachelor’s degree from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their two daughters.
