Maarten de Château, MD, PhD

Maarten de Château, is CEO and co-founder of Buzzard Pharmaceuticals. Previously he was CEO and co founder of Cormorant Pharmaceuticals that was sold to BMS in 2016 for 520 MUSD. He is MD PhD by training and has worked as sell side analysist at two investment banks; Aragon Securities and Swedbank. The last 17 years he has been working in clinical development at Sanofi and Sobi, before continuing at smaller companies. He is also on the board of several early stage biotech companies including Atrogi, Sixera Pharma, Amarna Therapeutics, Beactica, Strike Pharma and Cavis Technologies.
